Matilde Noca’s Restaurant has a privileged view of the Castle of Leiria that combines a distinct and pleasant space with a traditional and innovative menu.
Matilde was a young girl and was already surrounded by pots and pans in her father’s tavern, where she developed her natural aptitude for cooking and the tavern was called “Taberna do Ti Noca“, a mandatory stop for those who had already tasted the varied snacks and the best red wine.
Matilde grew in age and talent and became a great cook.
After working in various spaces, he opened his own restaurant with his son Fernando in 1991, which they called the restaurant “Matilde Noca“, in honor of the nickname of Matilde’s father.
The ingredients are different for being local, as well as the wines that are served here, something that only 20% of the spaces in Portugal have in the teams that serve at the tables.

Wines are carefully selected, local, with care at service temperatures and suitable glasses, where they bet on young people from Schools of Hospitality and immaculate training.
Always betting on quality, Matilde Noca’s Restaurant has wines from LMH-Wines such as Val dos Reys Reserva 2017, AvóQuina Red, and AvóQuina White.
